Appalachian Labs is bringing together a team of entrepreneurs, researchers, and inventors from many disciplines to collaborate together to dream the dreams of innovators and create the visions of a brighter tomorrow. The objectives of this team is to identify unmet consumer needs; to develop viable products, technologies and services to meet these needs; and finally bring them to them to the point of ready commercialization. These new products, technologies and services will then be spun off into new separate businesses or sold to existing businesses for commercialization. The core mission will be entrepreneurial innovation and the commercialization of those innovations.

The team will look beyond today’s technology and into the future to envision what could be, not just what is. We will keep pace with the visionaries and help develop the road map to reach those visions of a better tomorrow. We will develop products that are environmentally sound; products that will reduce our negative impacts on our world so that our children can enjoy a cleaner, brighter and more sustainable tomorrow.

Appalachian Labs will not only focus on the markets of the industrialized world but also of those of the developing world. Here we will focus on technologies and services that will help those most needy enjoy the basic necessities that we in the industrialized world take for granted but that are out of reach for the bulk of the world’s population. We will develop products, technologies and services that will assist these nations in rising from hunger, disease and despair while not destroying the natural environment in which they live as we have done so many times in our own march towards industrialization.
